Expected value of 1 DCC?
Obviously when the ICO was going to be launched, DCC (then called SPARC) had a outlined value (relative to ETH).
I wonder what the expected, if only base value, of 1 DCC is forecast to be now?
There must be some kind of forecast, else there would be no way to anticipate costs for projects, or a way a comparison of DCL to cloud providers could be made.
In my opinion this is the most important factor...
Unless you know how much a project will costs to process on the DCL network, or how much you will make processing DCP projects, there is no way you can do any kind of cost analysis - from either side.
Perhaps a given price range could be stated, with lower and upper bounds? eg $0.01 to $0.10 per DCC

Do you know the expected value of StorJ, FileCoin, or SiaCoin? They all have storage components with predictable storage and bandwidth costs by region or cloud providers. Yet, none were able to provide accurate price advice. To do so, would be foolish and possibly illegal. The market determines the price. Why would DCC be any different? Some people don't care about price and they are happy to get a little something in exchange for their spare computing cycle. For those that do, take a gamble like the rest of the digital currency/token cryptosphere.

I think portions of BOTH prior posts are valid. Since the stated long term goal of DCC is to facilitate "pay-to-play" is is not an unreasonable question to ask what the expectation of DCP's creators is (within, as the first post suggests, maybe an order of magnitude).
Having said that, the standard investment disclaimer should also apply here which is "no guarantees" (i.e. participate at your own risk). DCC are fundamentally different than, say GRC, in the sense that even though GRC relies on BOINC for security there is no reciprocal arrangement--BOINC has no dependence on GRC and doesn't plan to because it has a "charity-based" charter.
So yes, I don't thin it would be unreasonable to share the "expected range" of DCC value if only to allow workers to make a ballpark guess about whether or not DCC value willeven compensate them for their electricity use (a common complaint in the Gridcoin communty).
