I want to start by thanking all of you for your excellent feedback and participation so far. The discussion here has been very helpful for us while we continue to develop DCP, and its a great feeling watching our user community begin to establish itself.
The level of detail in the discussion posts and support tickets makes the whole team's work a lot easier. The more information you include with your ticket the faster we'll be able to diagnose it and address it, so make sure to include your browser, operating system, and a screenshot of your browser console when you file a bug.
(To open the browser console: right click on the page, select 'inspect' from the drop down menu, and then click the console tab of the window that comes up. Being able to take a look at any errors logged here is gold for our dev team.)
A few quick updates:
1. We had a technical issue over the weekend that limited many of the portal's key functions. This issue should be resolved by now, but there may be intermittent behavior from the portal over the next few days until we've completed a full assessment. If you submitted a bug ticket over the last two days check again to see if you are still having the same problem - it may already be back to normal! If not, hang with us - we've got you covered.
2. One of our most frequently asked questions is when users will be able to submit their own projects. While I don't have a timeline for that right now for you - stay tuned. It's one of our biggest priorities right now and the feature we're definitely most excited about.
3. While the rest of the team is working on implementing your feedback I'm going to be working on improving our communication with the community while it continues to grow. What is the best way for us to keep you updated? Are there social media platforms or forums you follow that you want to see us post on? Are there innovators or academics you know who might want to host their cool projects with us in the future? Comment bellow!
Thanks again for your support and feedback during this early stage.
