If you run a large core host for a while you will quickly see that tasks are not being counted or having credit issued.
However if you stop the miner and restart it you will find that before any new tasks are issued, tasks continue to be counted and and credit issued (even though no tasks are actually running).
Indeed it can take many minutes for any new tasks to be issued, as if it is running through a queue of completed but unprocessed tasks previously done.
I am guessing this is todo with pending validation of tasks, and therefore there needs to be some kind of visual information about this, so you don't get worried about tasks not being counted and/or credit being issued, as well as so you can get some idea of how long it will take for new tasks to be issue after restarting the miner.
Also task errors happen and therefore there should additionally be some visual information on this too, especially given the previous point about ongoing pending validation of completed tasks.
