I see that the miner by default assigns 75% of total cpu at the moment. The ability to use the computer for other tasks simultaneously would require the ability to set the number of cores or threads and whether or not to run during user activity.
Hopefully that is something we will see soon :)
Ability to control usage and heat production of the gpu(s) of course is also expected. Wouldn't want to lose a pricey gpu.
**Update: I now see cpu/thread usage as All-threads -1. Hope config comes soon.
